You may have noticed I’ve not had a new radio show in a couple weeks, and don’t plan to be back on air until around mid December. I’ve also not had much going on with social media, tv, etc. There have been a lot of changes with me, my brand and my health over the past several months.
First, my health. As anyone who’s been with me throughout my public career knows, the last couple of years has seen me go through some stressful events including a seizure and a bad fall. Now, I’m facing an unexpected surgery. Looking like it will be in January, but there’s a good possibility it may happen in December. Once that is behind me, I’ll be back up and running, and can’t wait! Any prayers and good vibes sent my way are greatly appreciated!
Now to the juicy stuff. Radio and whatnots. Y’all, I ain’t going ANYWHERE! My radio show is here to stay as long as we have Speedway Radio going! I’m co-owner of Speedway Radio, and as far as my partner, Javier, and I are concerned, we are in it for the long haul! He’s been great at manning my show schedule as I’ve been resting and focusing on my health etc. I can’t thank him enough. I AM working on a great and fun Christmas show(s). Having said that, I will be retooling the show a bit. I’ll still be playing some current indie artists, but I’ll be leaning more towards the great classics, and Elvis’ music is definitely staying front and center!
I’ll be utilizing this website more and more, as I can control the content. Most posts you’ll see online (FB) moving forward will consist mainly of nondescript posts, or promoting this site so you can keep up with all the new happenings. I do suggest you subscribe to this site, as it’s free, and you’ll automatically get all new updates that are posted. (If you love the FB posts I was doing, then you will definitely want to be over here for that continuation!)
In 2022, you’ll see me popping up as a contributor on magazine articles (I’m not at liberty yet to discuss, but trust me, the magazine is AMAZING and y’all will love it!), as well as my own media production projects. Remember 5-6 years ago when I was doing all my fun videos around town? That’s what I’m going back to. Also, yes, podcasts are still a go; although those may change formats some as well. You may even get some new music from yours truly coming your way in the new year!
I’ll be retooling this site to feature mainly my own personal projects. You’ll be seeing lots more things that pertain to me personally, my projects, my life, my likes, etc. There will definitely still be music related items, pinup items, and more! For all the projects and people I’m not moving forward with into the new year, I do appreciate the opportunities.
So, bottom line, back to the basics of enjoying life on my own timetable instead of anyone else’s and sharing it with everyone while practicing gratefulness, kindness and spreading love.
