Guess who’s back in school! C’mon! One guess! Yep, that’s right. I am. I just survived day 1 of being back in college after 31 years have passed since the last time I was in college.
A lot has changed. For one, me. Outside of just the age thing, I have a few decades of experience behind me now, whereas the first time “round I had zilch. The technology has DEFINITELY changed.
I have also already taken two tests on day 1, which technically made my decades’ long nightmare of being back in high school on the last day of the year (having not been in class all year) having to take tests to graduate come true. Except that it’s the first day of my freshman year in college.
This is causing quite the shift in my life schedule with everything else I already do. Throw in a few hours of sleep and I have the full life I never thought I’d experience.
So, bare with me as I get my sea legs. I may have to shift quite a few things around as these classes are going to tax my brain and time and patience for a bit. I accept all forms of food bribes in case anyone’s thinking of me and feeling a lil generous. 🙃
