Elvis Week 2022 is in full swing

It’s Elvis Week here in Memphis (Aug 9-17) and it’s a BIG week. Huge. It’s the 45th anniversary of Elvis’ untimely death back in 1977. It’s also the first year that ALL the events of Elvis Week are open to the public since the pandemic. The Elvii have entered the building.

I’ll write a much more detailed blog later, but I wanted to come on here and share that I’ve been recording some videos as I’ve been out and about this week and have uploaded them on my YouTube channel, which you can see a taste of below. (Here’s the link to the actual playlist: Elvis Week 2022 Playlist

That is world famous artist Brad Birkedahl with his Big Band. They gave an out of this world concert at The Circuit Playhouse on Wednesday evening where he showcased songs from all three eras of Elvis’ career. I’m going to blog on his show in much more detail as well. The point is, that video, along with many more, are on a playlist called “Elvis Week 2022” on my channel, (click Memphis Kimber), and if you like and subscribe to the page, you can follow my adventures both during and after Elvis Week 2022!

Tomorrow (Saturday the 13th, I’ll be hosting a live broadcast on YouTube of the Annual Elvis Week Pool Party at the Days Inn at Graceland hosted by my friend Mr. Rock n Roll himself, Colin Paul, who flew in from the UK with his gorgeous family to perform all during the week and also pay their respects to Elvis! You’ll want to subscribe and follow for all that and so much more!

Of course, there’s about to be an explosion of all things Elvis on here as well!

Thank ya. THANKYAVERYMUCH
