Another Class Introduction

I am taking two classes this semester. ENG1010-L02 English Composition I and ENG 0810 English Support Writing. I shared with y’all the other day my intro for English Support. Today, I share my introduction for English Comp I. (These are mandatory, graded and have to be formatted in the way presented.) I think they are a cool way to get to know each other since we are in virtual classes.

  1. Kimberly Tomlinson’s Personality Traits:
    1. Dependable
    2. Adaptable
    3. Positive
    4. Proactive
    5. Leader
    6. Assertive
    7. Direct
    8. Determination
  2. The personality trait that will help me be the most successful in this class is determination. I find that when I’m in a new situation that I don’t feel I know enough about, I am determined to lean into it and learn all I can so I can succeed at it. I love conquering new things; over time, this has built up a sense of determination in all areas of my life and kept me moving forward.                        Living Room Area
  3. My image is a space in my living room. This is where I like to relax and study because it’s comfortable, peaceful, and quiet. It’s easy for me to learn here because I’m not bothered by anyone, and my kitchen is close enough to grab snacks when I need a break.

I have a TON of more things to write as these classes progress, but I just wanted to share the introductions I wrote for each one because they were fun to do, and I love the purpose of sharing specific things about ourselves to each other.

Hey, Happy Friday, y’all!

I love my fur babies, I love Memphis, Elvis, and all things music! Having toured internationally as a singer/songwriter in the past, it's my joy to once again be working on new music for 2022. There are so many new things on my horizon in the new year, won't you join me?! Authentically, joyfully, beautifully broken, and loudly ME.
