I know, I haven’t been on here in a hot minute. School this semester has been kicking my butt. Work has been crazy, and therapy has dived into some deep territory lately. Overall, I’ve just been plain busy. However, I have so much to be thankful for.
I get to go to college, and at my age, that’s quite a challenge, but so worth it. I have a great day job that I get to work from home and do. I get to go to therapy and work out my past and create a better future for myself.
I have my fur-babies that are my lil children. I have family close by and a lot of friends who love me near and far.
As I type this, I’m sitting in the guest bedroom of my best friend of nearly 30 years, in Arkansas up in the Ozarks, preparing to go to Branson for the night with her and her mom. A trip we have had planned for over a year.
I’m healthy. That’s a big one. I was so sick for so long. This time last year my entire family had covid and I was battling gallbladder issues. There was no holiday for us then. This year my cousin and her family are hosting all of us at their home for Thanksgiving. A true blessing.
Even though the challenges are many, my blessings far outnumber them. I’m thankful to be where I am, still creating and working on my life vision and working on my legacy.
Happy Thanksgiving, every one. May your week be full of family, friends, food and naps!
